Your responsibilities
The solutions of Valmet's Automation business line are designed to maximize the profitability of our customers' businesses by improving production performance and cost, energy and material efficiency. Our worldwide network of experts supports our extensive range of process automation solutions and services. We serve our customers in the process industries, power generation, marine, oil & gas and pulp&paper.
We are looking for a Site Coordinator/Kierownik Robót (b2b) to lead our projects on site. In this role you will participate in technical coordination of project deliveries, ensuring timeliness of installation and commissioning works, participating in meetings with customer and subcontractors, cooperating with Project Manager(s) and branch engineers. You will play an important role in our project execution organization and your reporting location will be Gliwice, however project sites will be distributed across Poland and other EU countries. The main tasks are to supervise and coordinate DCS Control System, field instrumentation, electrical installation assembly and commissioning in power plants, pulp&paper plants, other industrial sites.
Our requirements
B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in automation, electrotechnics, process technology engineering - steam boilers/turbines mechanical engineering (or similar). At least 5 years of professional experience. Skills in site coordination containing supervising during construction/installation and commissioning activities. Process knowhow of power generation and experience related to DCS/PLC systems is considered as a strength.
You are a customer oriented self-driven team player, having the abilities to lead a site team. Your site activities planning competences & systematical way of working leads to excellent results. You have a hands-on and flexible attitude in everything you do. You have fluent written and spoken Polish & good English. Other foreign languages communication skills would be an additional strength. Microsoft Office, CAD/CAE software basic knowhow and driving license (B category) required.
