About the project
Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

As a member of Laboratory Operations Team, for our Common Services and Infrastructure (COSI) unit you will be a part of a team whose objectives are to deliver in an environment where openness, trust and teamwork are encouraged.
Your responsibilities
- Your daily duties will include work planning for team members (Linux/Cloud Administrators), managing current Linux/Cloud Services, internal customers relations and requirements that come from Business representatives (Development Units)
- Shaping and designing future services that come as internal (Team) or Development Unit (Business) requirements. Later, following up implementation of above to fulfil all project/service scope criteria
- Balancing team efforts among all parallel activities and Development Units requests and related tasks to maximize team throughput and optimizing deliveries’ schedule according to business needs
- Supporting other Technical Leaders in delivering Lab Services and reporting progress to Line Manager and Service Owner
Our requirements
- Experience with Linux systems and Cloud/Virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM, OpenStack and oVirt), advanced Linux network configuration knowledge (VLAN tagging, network bridge, bonding modes), experience with TCP/IP troubleshooting, practical knowledge of software stack used in OpenStack, (HAProxy/keepalived, Galera/MySQL, Apache, RabbitMQ/AMQP, Python Django) will be a plus
- Experience with software defined storage systems (CEPH, MooseFS) and enterprise storage systems (HPE 3PAR, NetApp)
- Good scripting skills (i.e. Bash) and knowledge of automation software (i.e. Ansible), knowledge of GIT version control system will be a plus
- Practical knowledge of servers’ hardware and servers' maintenance, experience in estimation, task planning, and other project management aspects, Leadership and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills
Optional
- Analytical approach to problem solving with understanding or R&D environment needs supported with min. 5-year experience in Linux/Cloud Administration, Linux/Virtualization/Cloud certifications will be a plus
- Good English language skills, written and spoken, with strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence without authority
- Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure, with attention to details
