Your responsibilities
- Provide advice and support in connection with a range of contract types, including drafting and reviewing change control notices, small contract documents, legal research and contract interpretation
- Provide ongoing advice to account teams regarding legal and commercial implications of specific terms and conditions in contracts
- Assist account teams with change control notices and draft amendments to existing agreements
- Perform appropriate clinical, administrative and operational research to support the proposal and contract development
- Maintain deadlines on deliverables and communicate on an ongoing basis with business partners and internal clients about contractual issues
- Communication and relationship building with the customers on a regular basis
- End-to-end contract lifecycle management
Our requirements
- Master`s degree in Law; degree obtained in the UK&I would be considered an advantage ;
- 4+ years` experience in law firm and/or global corporation. Outsourcing/supplier experience would be considered as an advantage
- Verbal and written fluency in English
- Contract and commercial drafting and assessment experience required, including a level of client engagement.
- Extensive experience of proposals and contracts.
- Ability to provide guidance/interpretation on existing contract provisions;
- Ability to work remotely and within a team, build relationships with other business functions (legal, finance, compliance etc)
- Demonstrable knowledge and judgment about contractual and commercial risks/issues in transactions.
- Demonstrate ability to think outside the box

OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:
UnitedLex is looking for qualified candidate for the remote position of Contracts Manager with English for a maternity cover (up to 2years`). The Contracts Manager is responsible for individual contribution as part of the Global Contracting & Commercial Solutions Group for UnitedLex. Primary day-to-day focus is the commercial and contractual analysis and support services across client industries, (Manufacturing, Retail & Consumer, Public sector (Including Government), Healthcare, Automotive and Banking & Insurance), advising on technology and outsourcing deals.
